We all had doubts about the anime getting renewed for another season because of its complex plotlines and exciting characters. The good news is that our suspicions were true, and the franchise has blessed us with another season.

The reboot anime series Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These is getting a fourth season titled ‘Sakubō’ (Intrigue) and is set for a theatrical premiere this year.

The season will follow the same three-part release pattern as the previous ones, with the first film coming out on September 30, the second on October 28, and the third on November 25.

The visual released by the franchise features Adrian Rubinsky, leader of the Free Dominion of Phezzan, and his long-term partner Dominique Saint-Pierré. This season will be the debut of the nation of Phezzan of the Galactic Empire.

Phezzan exists within the Galactic Empire but is a self-governed nation. It remained neutral during the war to facilitate hassle-free trade between the Empire and the Free Planets Alliance.

Not much is known about Phezzan or Adrian, but I’m hoping they’re a decent nation since it’s self-governed. However, Adrian is shown as a classy and influential leader with a mysterious aura around him.

I’m excited about how the new characters and plotlines will blend in with the existing chaotic ones. Will they change the course of the war? We do not know that yet.

But one thing is for sure, the war between the Galactic Empire and Free Planets Alliance is not over yet, and it’s about to get even more brutal.
