Warner Bros. Japan Reveals OP Video for ‘Legend of Mana’

Tamami tribe’s Elazul and Pearl are on a mission to save their people, and Shiloh is the only one who can help them. The pair’s long-awaited encounter with the boy triggers the events of Legend of Mana: The Teardrop Crystal.

Domina’s Tamami tribe is known for the enormous gem buried in their members’ chests, and many seek the jewel for themselves. This resulted in the race becoming endangered as people started killing the Tamami for the jewels embedded in them.

An anime with such a traumatic premise is bound to have dramatic opening credits, and the one for ‘Legend of Mana: The Teardrop Crystal’ proves it.

The video also previews the show’s opening theme song ‘Tear of Will’ performed by Saori Hayami and composed by Kevin Penkin. Saori and Kevin’s song is one of the finest opening scores I’ve ever heard, and they definitely deserve a place on your playlist.

Besides showing the characters with a mesmerizing backdrop, the video gives us a sneak peek into the show’s action. From shattering the ground to slicing the enemy into a million pieces, this show has some sick combat sequences.

Coming to the animation part, I’m honestly surprised at how neat it is. There’s not a single smudge or clumsy work in any scene, and every frame looks like the animator put in 101% of the effort.

Since the anime is adapted from a popular video game, there’s no doubt about the story being anything less than epic.

I hope you guys have already marked the anime’s October 8 debut on your calendars because if not, then you’ll miss out on something great.
