Season 1 of ‘Komi Can’t Communicate’ has been a huge hit among rom-com lovers, and soon after it ended, season 2 was announced. In the last episode, the cute Komi-Tadano moment had melted my heart, and I just can’t wait to see how their relationship develops.
The anime’s undisturbed peace will soon be shattered as Komi faces a love rival. The girl can barely talk to people, what will she do if Tadano is snatched from her?
Season 2 of the Komi Can’t Communicate anime will be released on April 6, 2022. Netflix will stream the upcoming season worldwide.
The latest visual craftily shows the characters we have already been introduced to and those who are yet to debut.
Season 1 of Komi Can’t Communicate adapted the plot till chapter 73 of the manga. Thus, season 2 will adapt from chapter 74 onwards and will cover most of volume 6.
In the upcoming episodes, we will be introduced to a few new characters, one of them being Onemine, a girl Tadano will hang out with a lot. This development will leave Komi uneasy as she has no idea how to deal with jealousy.
Another new character called Katai Makoto will also make his debut. He looks like a delinquent but is actually bad at communicating, just like Komi. Shin’ichirō Kamio will voice Makoto.
The opening theme of the second season is “Ao 100 Iro” by Miku Itō, and the ending theme is “Koshaberi Biyori” by FantasticYouth.
Season 2 will introduce some fresh characters, and Komi will have a lot on her plate. Will she reach her ‘100 friends’ wish? Before all of that, let’s see how she deals with the green-eyed monster.
