Kin-iro Mosaic is a story about a group of high school girls with different cultural backgrounds forming a beautiful friendship. After the OVA back in 2016, the series is ready to make its comeback with the new movie Kin-iro Mosaic Thank You!!.
Although the anime was only released just a little over five years ago, the series isn’t very well known today, aside from the old fans.
It might have been a while, but the old cast for the anime is back at it once again.
The official website for Kin-iro Mosaic Thank You!! has released a new promotional video featuring the cast for the movie. The film will come out in Japanese theaters on August 20, 2021.
The video opens up with the cast introducing themselves; as expected, they are in good spirits. Then it cuts to Alice reminiscing about her high school life in Japan and how it was the longest three years of her life. The scene then cuts to glimpses of the group’s final year trip to Kyoto.
The film has also released character PVs for Alice, Aya, and Shinobu on their official website. These feature several old scenes from the original anime as well as the upcoming film. PV’s for Karen and Youko are also set to come out before the movie’s release.
This film might be the beginning of the end of Alice’s time in Japan. It adapts the groups’ final year trip from the manga and given the title of the movie, this might really be the end.
Although she might leave for England after it ends, there is no doubt she and Shinobu will remain friends forever.
