Kengan Ashura Season 3 (The End) and Season 4 (Kengan Omega) Release Date and Updates

Kengan Ashura, one of the most brutal anime on Netflix, took fans by surprise. While Netflix is still in R&D stages for the anime genre and hasn’t really made something up to the mark, Kengan Ashura was different and became popular quickly. Compared to the other Netflix’s anime like Baki and Swordgai, Kengan Ashura lays some groundwork and offers more character development which makes it all the while better.

Quick Answer

Judging from the pace of Season 1 and 2, season 3 will mark the end of Ohma Tokita’s story in the manga. The franchise may continue a Season 4 with the Kengan Ashura sequel manga – Kengan Omega. As for the release date or the production date of Season 3 or 4, there is no reliable news.

Kengan Ashura Season 3 – The End of Ohma Tokita’s Story

SPOILER: The manga ends with the death of Ohma Tokita and possibly the extinction of Niko Style. But soon enough things start changing when Yamashita quits his job and vows to revolutionise the Kengan Association.

Will there be Season 4 – Kengan Omega?

If the anime adaptation continues, fans will definitely get a Season 4 following the Kengan Omega manga. However, there is no news as of now.

The last panel of the Ashura manga shows some shady guys talking about Ohma and a man claiming to be the last and only heir to the Niko Style after Ohma’s death. It ends with the line, “EVIL IS ON THE MOVE…” Later on, a sequel to Kengan Ashura, Kengan Omega was published. Kengan Omega manga is still ongoing with 38 chapters so far.

Kengan Omega is set up two years after the finale of Kengan Annihilation Tournament. It follows the story of an aspiring fighter Narushima Koga and the mysterious(just like the good ‘ol Ohma) Gaoh Ruki as they participate in Kengan matches on the Ganryu Island.

Kengan Ashura Season 2

Season 2 of the fan-favourite Netflix series Kengan Ashura was released on October 31st, 2019 from episode 13 to 24. Netflix US immediately provided the English dubbed version by the next day.

The first season introduced us to the world of Kengan Matches and the Kengan Annihilation Tournament. The fights were still softcore, and main characters like Ohma Tokita and Yamashita were yet to fully develop. Season 2, however, will go full throttle with even more deadlier matches and the conclusion of the Kengan Tournament.
