Kemono Friends 2 Manga to End in the Next Chapter

It isn’t unusual for animes to inspire manga adaptations. Animes with large fanbases often lead to manga serialization to give fans in-depth stories that the anime couldn’t give.

Kemono Friends 2, like many others, inspired a manga adaptation by Ryū Naitō on January 26, 2019, right after its broadcast.

Ryū Naitō announced in the August issue of Kadokawa’s Monthly Shōnen Ace that the manga would conclude with its next chapter.

The manga adapted Kemono Friends’ second season and entered its final arc back in April.

Kemono Friends 2 premiered in January 2019 before the manga with 12 episodes. It was streamed on Crunchyroll.

The second season begins with Serval and Caracal finding a “human” child in Japari Park. They meet new friends, uncover secrets of the park, and become involved in the event that will “shake the earth.”

Naitō launched the manga adapting the second season in Kadokawa’s Monthly Shōnen Ace magazine, publishing its second compiled volume on January 24.
