Not just an appearance, showrunner Bruce Helford has said that the viewers will get to see a lot more of Katey Sagal in the third season. The Coronavirus pandemic is the main focus of the new season; Sagal’s character Louise will move in with the Conners and spend her quarantine with them. The slightly larger crowd in the house will create some difficult situations for everyone.

The family’s financial troubles will multiply as a result of the pandemic. According to a press release by ABC, the Lunch Box has limited its service to takeout and delivery, affecting the family income. Many members of the family are on the lookout for new jobs to support each other. A few back-mortgage payments and a possible eviction are not making things easy for them.

About The Conners
