The man offers her a place to stay to express his gratefulness and directs her to a shrine. Turns out, the man was an Earth deity who temporarily transferred his seal to Nanami. In the shrine, Nanami meets Tomoe, a fox familiar.
To fulfill her duties as a God, Nanami must make Tomoe her familiar, and after doing so, the two discover just how intermingled their lives truly were.

1. Release Date
Season 3 of Kamisama Kiss has not been officially announced yet. However, if the series does get renewed, it should be out by spring or summer of 2022.
It has happened that an old anime gets revived after years, so Kamisama Kiss Season 3 can release later in 2022.
2. What To Expect From Season 3
Season 2 and the 4 OVAs covered the entirety of Kamisama Kiss. After Nanami saves Tomoe’s life, the two get married, and Tomoe becomes a human to spend the rest of his life with Nanami.
We aren’t exactly sure what would happen in season 3, but Nanami and Tomoe are shown to return to the Mikage Shrine once again. This time, they have a little baby with them. Season 3 could give us glances at the duo’s married life and the life of their child.
Also, many details were left out from the OVAs so, season 3 could be a better conclusion to the series.

Kamisama Kiss is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Julietta Suzuki. The manga was adapted into an anime in 2012.
Kamisama Kiss revolves around Nanami Momozono, an ordinary high school girl. Her life isn’t the best as she gets kicked out of her house after her father runs away with all the savings and unpaid debt. Having nowhere to go, she packs up and makes her way to the nearby park. There, she meets a mysterious man, harassed by a dog.
After helping the man, they start talking, and Nanami explains her downtrodden situation to him. As a token of gratitude, the man offers her a home and directs her to a shrine. Turns out, the man was an Earth deity who transferred his seal to Nanami.
Thinking she had nothing to lose, Nanami goes to the shrine where she meets Tomoe, the familiar of the original Earth deity. Despite having a rough start, Nanami and Tomoe discover that their fates were already linked through a series of events that ultimately lead to their happiness.
