The visual features the whole main cast of the show, mainly Zorori and his boar apprentices Ishishi and Noshishi. His future adventures are teased in the background.

Bandai Namco Pictures and Ajiado are returning to produce the third season. The series started as a children’s book series by Yutaka Hara back in 1987 and is still going on to this day. It has inspired three anime series, the third of which is going on right now.

The current series, unlike the previous two, isn’t completely adapted from the book series. This one only takes loose narratives from the books and often features original storylines and characters. The fan-favorite Beat, the righteous jack-of-all-trades rival of Zorori, is one of these original characters.

As it is with a children’s story, the plot is fairly simple; Zorori is just a cunning fox who wants to become the “King of Pranks” and fulfill his mother’s dream. His notorious pranks often backfire and end up cheering up or even benefitting his targets.

This might be an anime intended for children, but even someone older can enjoy it for laughs once in a while.
