One of those gems to have their tag, Jujutsu Kaisen, is all set to enter the second cour of its premiere, and fans have already reserved their Fridays to enjoy every second of it!
To indulge the fans in the upcoming Goodwill Event and tease the face-offs in this ‘Tournament Arc,’ a minute long PV has been released for the second cour of Jujutsu Kaisen.
The PV unveils that the second cour will start airing on January 15, 2021. It also features the opening theme for the second cour, VIVID VICE, performed by Who-ya Extended and has the hype going with another banger OP.
The theme songs for the second cour of anime were previously announced by the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine.
The first cour of anime was well received by the audience, and after dominating the manga sales with over 10 million copies sold, Jujutsu Kaisen has also taken the anime community by storm.
MyAnimeList even awarded Jujutsu Kaisen as the most popular anime of 2020.
The first cour of anime focussed mainly on the world-building of Jujutsu Kaisen, introducing the viewers to a supposedly invisible side of our world which only some people, Sorcerers, have the means to interact with.
Just like any other Shonen anime, Jujutsu Kaisen will also set foot in the Tournament-style arc with Goodwill Event and entertain the fans with episodes full of stunning animation and well-choreographed face-offs.
With Jujutsu Tech students engaging in battle with the students from Kyoto Sister School to test everyone’s strength, fans are hyped over the matchups and we can’t wait for Yuuji to finally reunite with Megumi and Nobara.

Jujutsu Kaisen was initially published as a serialized manga in the Weekly Shonen Jump in 2018.
The story revolves around Yuuji Itadori, a high-school student who, despite hating athletics, is insanely fit. Yuuji gets involved in the world of sorcery when he swallows a powerful talisman to protect his friends from its curse.
On observing that Yuuji wasn’t affected much even when inflicted with this curse, Satoru decides to send Yuuji on a quest to save the world.
