Jujutsu Kaisen Translator Arrested For Possessing Child Porn

Possession of child pornography is a punishable offence in many countries. If any kind of child pornography material is being used for commercial purposes, then the person is liable to imprisonment, fine, or both.

After Act Age mangaka, Tatsuya Matsumi was arrested on the grounds of molestation; the manga industry sees another arrest. However, this time it is not a mangaka or an illustrator but an official translator.

Stefan Koza, the translator for the Jujutsu Kaisen manga, was arrested on 7th December on account of possession and distribution of child pornography.

The 33-year-old resident of Great Falls, VA, was arrested by the Herndon Police Department.

He was transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Centre and held without a bond there. The arrest took place after a collaborative investigation with the Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce. (ICAC).

The Herndon Police Department has arrested Koza based on five counts of child pornography possession and distribution. He also has other minor offenses to his name.

Charges of destruction to property, fraud-false pretences, driving while intoxicated and assault have been brought against him in the past as well.

Koza went by the names of Steady or Steady Studios in his field of translation. He used to translate mangas to the English language for readers around the world.

He has also translated some other Shonen Jump mangas like Ghost Reaper Girl, Dragon Ball: That Time I Got Reincarnated as Yamcha!, We Never Learn, and Tokyo Shinobi Squad.

Jujutsu Kaisen first debuted in March 2018 in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine of Shueisha. It has inspired an anime adaptation, which is currently being aired.

The Jujutsu Kaisen anime debuted on 2nd October. It is animated by MAPPA and Crunchyroll streams it.

The story revolves around Yuuji Itadori, a high-school student who, despite hating athletics, is insanely fit. Yuuji gets involved in the world of sorcery when he swallows a powerful talisman to protect his friends from its curse.

On observing that Yuuji wasn’t affected much even when inflicted with this curse, Satoru decides to send Yuuji on a quest to save the world.
