On Wednesday, Shueisha revealed that Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen manga has 20 million copies in circulation.

According to reports, the manga’s number of copies has increased by around 235% since its anime adaptation debuted on October 3, 2020.

The manga had 8.5 million copies back at the beginning of October, which rose to 10 million by the end of the month. The stats got better and better with time, and this number reached 15 million by December 16.

Shueisha has already published the manga’s 14th compiled book volume this year on January 4, which covers The Shibuya Incident arc.

The TV has dominated the entire Fall 2020 anime list. The first season will have 24 episodes, which have been divided into two cours. Fans are eagerly waiting for Cour 2, which is set to release on January 15.

It is expected to focus on a tournament-style-arc at The Kyoto Sister-School Goodwill Event, and we are eagerly waiting for Itadori to finally reunite with Megumi and Nobara.

Moreover, it will be interesting to watch how the relationship between Itadori and Sukana turns out as Sukana keeps getting stronger with each finger.

With classic series like Attack on Titan gradually heading to its end, the growing popularity of Jujutsu Kaisen ensures us that the future of anime is in safe hands.

Jujutsu Kaisen, also known as Sorcery Fight, is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Gege Akutami, serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump since March 2018.

The individual chapters are collected and published by Shueisha, with eleven tankōbon volumes released as of June 2020.

Viz Media published the first three chapters for its “Jump Start” initiative and published the print series starting in December 2019.

An anime television series adaptation produced by MAPPA has been announced to premiere in October 2020.
