I. Their battle ends
Chapter 116, titled “The Shibuya Incident, Part 33,” begins with Sukuna and Jogo’s firepower battle! They mold their flames and attack each other. Jogo’s reunion in his memories with Hanami and Dagon is shown where he expresses; he wanted to become a human.
Jogo anticipates meeting them again after their rebirth, even if they change. Sukuna enters Jogo’s memories and asks him about his motivation for wanting to be a human. Sukuna understands Jogo’s desires and tells him that he was a great opponent to fight against and be proud of himself and his powers.
II. What he did not realize
Not recognizing tears falling from his eyes, Jogo questions Sukuna about what technique was being used for letting a person crossing death reunite with their loved ones and leave their regrets behind.
But Sukuna answers that even he wasn’t aware of it. After Jogo burns to ashes, Uraume appears on the scene and offers to be Sukuna’s escort. On the other hand, Ogami’s grandson mocks an unconscious Megumi.
