Dorothy is someone every fan envies. Not only is she extremely powerful, but she also gets to sleep most of the time. That’s the American dream, y’all!!!
From all the witches we know, Vanessa has the power to literally alter fate and time, while the Witch Queen seems to be capable of literally creating human beings (still not ruling out the possibility that she created all the witches herself).
As a witch herself, and a captain on top of that, Dorothy is sure to have an overpowered ability that ranks her at the very top. How strong is she? Let’s take a look.
Is Dorothy Unsworth a Witch?
Dorothy Unsworth is a witch who left the Witches’ Forest and became the captain of Clover Kingdom’s Coral Peacock squad. She was also the human host to one of the ten Apostles of Sephirah (elves), Reve.
With the help of the Black Bulls’, Dorothy defeated Reve, and in the end, thanks to Asta and William’s magic, the elf was sent to the afterlife, thus removing her from Dorothy’s body forever.
Just like other captains, Dorothy is quirky in her own way. Most of the time, if not all, she is seen sleeping, whether it be during important meetings or even fights.
While the exact reason is not known, it is believed to be because of her magic type.
Dorothy Unsworth is always asleep because of her Dream Magic. Since her magic relies on dreams and a dream world, sleeping is a requirement that comes along with it.
How Strong Is She? – Powers & Abilities
If one underestimates the Coral Peacock’s Captain based on the fact that she is always sleeping, they’re in for a rough ride.
Dorothy ranks among the top 5 strongest Magic Knight Captains of all time. She specializes in Dream Magic that allows her to manifest and manipulate a dream-like world.
She has one of the most overpowered ( bordering into hax) ability called Glamour World that can easily trap anyone in it.
In this glamour world, Dorothy can create and do basically anything she wills. Over there, she is God, and everyone that enters it is at her mercy.
To understand the full potential of Glamour World, Dorothy can change her magic type, as well as anyone who enters it. She can will a giant teddy to fall onto that person or a steel building.
There are no limitations, except that Dorothy needs to be present in the Dream World herself. Furthermore, just being within the dream world causes the victim to become drowsy, making it so that they will never awaken if they fall asleep.
Even when one of the strongest Elf, Reve, had possession of her body, Dorothy managed to simply out create and defeat her. It is difficult to imagine anyone who isn’t Asta to even stand a chance against her in the Glamour World.
With Dorothy’s hacked dream ability and an immense amount of mana, it isn’t a reach to rank among the top 3 Magic Knight Captains, as we have never really gotten a chance to see her full potential.
Let’s hope that the manga will explore her powers and past as a witch further.
