Idolish7: Second BEAT Anime Resumes In October

Idols are huge celebrities in East Asian countries. Not only do they sing and dance, but they also need to have their own specialities or charms to survive in the industry.

Even though Korean idols are currently stealing the spotlight, Japan has its own famous idols too.

Idolish7 was initially released as a rhythm game, but soon it grew famous enough to get its anime. Currently, it is a mix-media franchise, as Idolish7 has been adapted into games, manga as well as anime.

The official website of Idolish7 has announced that Idolish7: Second BEAT will resume broadcasting from 4th October 2020.

The anime will be broadcasted on Tokyo MX and  BS11 as well as premier on ABEMA and other online streaming websites on the same day.

Idolish7: Second, BEAT initially premiered on 5th April 2020, but it could only release four episodes before the COVID-19 pandemic put the anime to a halt.

The anime will resume on 4th October with its 3rd episode, and episode 5 will be broadcast on 18th October. A new trailer for the Idolish7: Second BEAT anime has been released.

The trailer not only shows some well-coordinated dance performances by the aspiring idols but also shows us how each of them copes with their own worries.

Glimpses of episode 5 and onwards have been shown in the trailer, making fans excited about the upcoming events. These talented men try their best to debut and rise in fame as an idol group.

Episode 4 summary

Episode 4 is titled “New Shapes” Ichiori will take over as Idolish7’s center position. Their first program called “Lovely Night With You” was a success.

The communication barrier between Sogo and Tamaki has been lifted a lot in this episode.

Most of the characters developed, and their new choreography received a lot of attention from fans.

Starting as a rhythm game, Idolish7 later expanded into several anime and novel adaptations. The anime is adapted by studio Troyca and licensed by Crunchyroll.

Tsumugi Takanashi is an inexperienced manager under his father’s agency and is in charge of a new idol group, “Idolish7”.

Consisting of 7 male singers, each with their vibrant personality, the group aims to be famous idols in the intense pressure of the entertainment industry.
