ID: INVADED Will Stream on Funimation by January

Previously revealed in the October issue of Kadokawa’s Young Ace Magazine, ID: INVADED will have a manga adaptation titled ID: INVADED #BRAKE BROKEN. The manga made its debut in the October 4th issue. As for the anime, the wait is over as Funimation announced on Sunday that it will be airing the anime starting January 2020.

The anime will also be premiering in Japan at the same time. Funimation describes the anime as:

“Set in a virtual world, the visually stunning ID: INVADED follows Sakaido, a detective looking to solve the grisly murder of Kaeru, a young girl. But solving this case is unlike any other as the world begins to twist and turn around Sakaido, challenging what he thinks and believes.”

Remember the Atomic Samurai from One Punch Man? The S-Class Rank 4 professional hero of the Hero Association? The swordmaster and a member of the Council of Swordmasters? No? It’s ok (No seriously go watch some One Punch Man!). The voice behind the Kamikaze, Kenjiro Tsuda will also be doing the anime’s main character Sakaido.
