There are many unpaid VPN services at hand or free browser extensions. However, using low-tier VPN providers might decrease your speed and get you blocked by streaming services. Connection drops and unsecured encryption are also other disadvantages.

The important thing is that One Piece is present on Crunchyroll, Hulu, and Funimation’s catalogs, so set your VPN to a suitable location to access the anime from anywhere.

Congratulations on completing this article, and best of luck if you are planning on watching One Piece. I bet your heart needs some preparation before going through the most moving and adrenaline-filled series of the century.

Stick to the recommended watch order for the best experience, and it’s best not to jump between seasons to follow the timeline strictly. You can watch the OVAs, shorts, specials, and movies whenever you want since they don’t necessarily follow the main plot.

The OVAs, specials, and shorts add a fun touch to the anime, and the movies are original masterpieces.

10. About One Piece

One Piece is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine since July 22, 1997.

The man who had acquired everything in this world, the Pirate King, is Gol D. Roger. The final words he said at the execution tower were “My treasures? If you want it, I’ll let you have it. Look for it; I left all of it at that place.” These words sent many to the seas, chasing their dreams, headed toward the Grand Line, in search of One Piece. Thus began a new age!

Seeking to be the greatest pirate in the world, young Monkey D. Luffy also heads toward the Grand Line in search of One Piece. His diverse crew is joining him along the way, consisting of a swordsman, marksman, navigator, cook, doctor, archaeologist, and cyborg-shipwright, this will be one memorable adventure.

Really glad that you found this article helpful! It’ll take you almost 2 weeks (14 days) if you watch One Piece if you watch it non-stop. Realistically, it will take you a couple of months to catch up!

how come the OVA’s and specials aren’t included in the chronological order list?
also do u know if/where u can buy the movies, specials, and OVA’s?

The OVAs, ONAs, specials and the movies are all included in the chronological list. The list has also been updated.

Hey there. Great Article. I started re watching the series on February and I am already on Dressrosa. I noticed that two things are missing from the list (maybe I am wrong). First one is Boss Luffy special (only the 5 episodes are mentioned) and 2nd one is strong world episode 0.

Thanks for this post of One Piece Chronological orders of Movies, OVA’s, Short Film and Specials based on episodes.

This makes a lot of sense for the beginners though I haven’t watch it in first episodes and started at Amazon Lily Arc. 🙂

Thank you for this list! It’s very useful! Just one thing tho- I think you guys forgot to add in “One Piece Episode 0” which I think comes before the movie “Strong world”

Hi, really loved your work. If you could, please help me in the final saga ending part, how can Cidre Guild Arc come after Wano Country Arc – Act 3 even though Wano Country Arc – Act 3 came after Cidre Guild Arc

Amazing, but shouldn’t the little east blue arc come before strong world episode 0 and the strong world movie not after them?

You guys are very very wrong with the Wano Act order. Act 1 ends on episode 916 and Act 2 begins on 917 and ends on 956. You can even check the anime, at the end of episode 916 it says “Act 1 End.” You should fix it so it doesn’t confuse other people, like it did to me at first.

yeah saw that but i don’t skip anything in one piece. i just wanna know what episodes they come after so i can keep track of things. ‍♀️

I have a friend that is ahead of me and is also using this list but he said that strong world episode 0 spoils the ending to the strong world movie, can I have someone confirm this? If it does spoil the ending to the movie then shouldnt it be placed after the movie?

Boss Luffy Hysterical Specials 406-407 spoil a crewmate and also some characters of Thriller Bark, might want to change that, dont know where you would want to put it though.

Although 3D2Y happens before “Return to Sabaody Arc,” the ending to the movie takes place after “Return to Sabaody Arc” because they get ready to set sail and spoil what timeskip characters look like. In my opinion it should be placed after “Return to Sabaody Arc” but honestly its up to author of this article.

SPOILER ALERT TO PUNK HAZARD ARC: Episode Of Merry takes place before Glorious Island because of the fact that Trafalgar Law isn’t with them, the characters costumes are the same as glorious island, and at the end of the Episode of Merry Nami says to Franky that she wants to swim in a pool and Brook says he will join her which is exactly what happens at the beginning of Glorious Island.
