Complete Fate Series Watch Order Guide – Easily Watch Fate Series

With many narratives and a perplexing timeframe, the Fate series may appear to be a train wreck to novices trying to enter the Fate realm, but this is precisely what has made it such a success and entertaining in its own right.

Since its release, there have been so many adaptations that even a die-hard anime fan could become confused and lose track of the core plot. So, it is only fair to ask about the correct order to watch it.

1. Recommended Fate Series Watch Order:

The original visual novel, Fate/Stay Night, is comprised of three parts: Fate, followed by Unlimited Blade Works, and then Heaven’s Feel. Thus, it’s best to watch the anime in the same order and complete the main storyline before diving into other spinoffs.

  • Fate/Stay Night (2006)
  • Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works (2 Seasons: 2014-15)
  • Fate/Stay Night Movie: Heaven’s Feel Movie Trilogy (2017-2020)
  • Fate/Zero Prequel

After completing the main Fate storyline, you can now dive into its spinoffs and OVAs:

  • Lord El-Melloi II Case Files (2018-2019)
  • Today’s Menu for Emiya Family (2018 ONA)
  • Fate/strange Fake (2023 Movie)
  • Fate/Apocrypha (2017 Anime)

There are many unpaid VPN services at hand or free browser extensions. However, using low-tier VPN providers might decrease your speed and get you blocked by streaming services. Connection drops and unsecured encryption are also other disadvantages.

The important thing is that Fate is present on Netflix, Crunchyroll, Funimation, Hulu, and many other streaming websites’ catalogs, so set your VPN to a suitable location to access the anime from anywhere.

Those who already know what this is all about and have seen every single episode, movie, or specials can save time by following the chronological order.

7. About Fate/Grand Order: Ritsuka Fujimaru Doesn’t Get It

Fate/Grand Order: Ritsuka Fujimaru Doesn’t Get It is a gag manga written and illustrated by Tsuchida. The manga was launched in June 2020 and has since been serialized on Kadokawa’s website Type-Moon Comic Ace.

The manga follows humanity’s last Master Ritsuka Fujimaru, who helped save humanity. His only shortcoming is that he is far too honest. The story shows how he manages to charm and sway the heroic spirits of those around him through his simplistic questions.

The manga will receive an anime adaptation in February 2023.
