Revealing the plot lines, the statement further read:

“In the first timeline, fourteen-year-old sisters Jade and Billie Wesker are moved to New Raccoon City, a manufactured, corporate town. This move is forced on them right as adolescence is in full swing. Now, the more time they spend there, the more they come to realize that the town is more than it seems. Add to  that the realization that their father may be concealing dark secrets, that could destroy the world.”

The second one is a little more topical and has a deadly zombie-ish virus spreading round the world. Explaining the same, the statement read:

“Well over a decade into the future (from the first timeline): there are less than fifteen million people left on Earth. But more than six billion monsters — people and animals infected with the T-virus – roam the earth free and wild. Jade, now thirty, struggles to survive in this New World, while the secrets from her past continue to haunt her.”
