A perfect mix of the rom-com and slice of life genres, Horimiya is truly one of the most entertaining and laid back manga out there.
Written and illustrated by HERO, it follows the story of students who have a hidden side to themselves.
A special was live-streamed for the upcoming Horimiya anime which unveiled more cast and staff members. The anime is set to premiere on 9th January 2021.
The special debuted a new key visual for the characters voiced by the nine newly announced cast members. It features some unlikely pair of students, each having a hidden side yet looking merry and bubbly in the visual.

The first and second episodes of Horimiya will have a special pre-screening.
It will be held at the Tokyo Animate Ikebukuro Main Store on December 11th and Hokkaido Animate Sapporo on December 27th.
A calendar card based on the original illustration from the manga will be given to the attendees.
Horimiya is about the student life of Izumi Miyamura, a handsome high school student, and Kyoko Hori, a gloomy person who seems innocent and disciplined at home but secretly has piercings and tattoos.
By sheer coincidence, their paths cross, and they quickly become best friends, finding comfort in each other’s company.
Horimiya will be releasing in Japan on January 9, 2021.
