The anime adaptation for the game seems to be on a similar track. The main cast and the studio have already been revealed, without a release schedule. They have even released a PV to show us what the anime will look like.

Bandai Namco Entertainment’s Tales of YouTube channel has released a promotional video for the upcoming Tales of Luminaria the Fateful Crossroad anime.

The PV features the fight between Leo and Hugo and sheds some light on their relationship. Leo is part of the Jerla Federation knight academy, where he and Hugo used to train under the same instructor. Hugo is now part of the Gildllan Empire and therefore stands against Leo.

This PV also features the inspiration song for the anime “Answer” by Frederic and Keina Suida.

The game’s story revolves around the conflict between the Jerle Federation and the Gildllan Empire. The Jerle Federation has been living in harmony with nature and the Primordial Beasts since ancient times. On the other hand, the Gilldllan Empire exploits the Primordial Beasts for their mana to fuel their technologically advanced nation.

Unlike the other Tales of games, Tales of Luminaria has gained a lot of attention internationally because of Hololive Vtuber Kiara Takanashi, who is the ambassador for the game.

Although the anime does seem to have a touch of CG that puts off some people, Studio Kamikaze Douga will probably do a good job.
