Debuting only days before the premiere of Demon Slayer‘s Mugen Train arc are the two recompilation specials that shall cover the exciting Asakusa arc and the exhilarating Tsuzumi Mansion arc.

If you’re having trouble remembering these arcs, worry not, as these special omnibus episodes will provide us with a recap of each of their respective arcs.

We’ve been promised with never-before-seen footage with this coupled release – talk about getting two for one!

There’s more good news. We’re here to refresh your memory about the three Demon Slayer specials that hit the silver screen last year with extra footage and extra “this is why we love Demon Slayer” energy.

The three special episodes covered three primary arcs: Sibling’s Bond, Mt. Natagumo, and Hashira Meeting. Lucky for us, these three recompilations will be updated with even more footage, thanks to the release of the upcoming specials!

Now we have to watch all five TV specials to be a certified Demon Slayer stan.

About Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotoge. Its publication in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump began in February 2016 and ended in May 2020 with 23 collected tankōbon volumes.

In a world filled with demons and demon slayers, Kimetsu no Yaiba follows the lives of two siblings Tanjiro and Nezuko Kamado after— the murder of their family at the hands of a demon. Their hardship does not end there, as Nezuko’s life is spared only for her to live as a demon.

As the oldest sibling, Tanjiro vows to protect and cure his sister. The story traces the bond of this brother-sister or better yet, demon slayer and demon combo against the odds of an arch antagonist and the society.
