Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has hordes of mysterious treasure and wealth stashed away, just waiting to be discovered. If you are around Jotunheim, then strap yourself for some amazing loot.
The best thing about playing Assassin’s Creed Valhalla as Eivor is that each region has its own secrets just waiting to be found. The catch? Most of the time, you just keep going in circles, trying to pinpoint a treasure. To save you the trouble, I’ve compiled this guide to all the wealth, mysteries, and artifacts found in Jotunheim.
There are a total of 33 Wealth and 7 Mysteries in Jotunheim to discover. Just like Asgard, all the wealth in Jotunheim are Ymir’s Blood Stones.
AC Valhalla Jotunheim All Wealth Locations
1. Aegir’s Hall Wealth
I. Ymir’s Blood Stone 1
This bloodstone is the first one you will find. It is located inside Aegir’s Hall, the location you first spawn in Jotunheim. The chest is on the second floor of the house where the quest Aegir’s Daughter starts. The key to it is just across the road in the giant vat. Be ready to take a dive.
II. Ymir’s Blood Stone 2
On the coastline of Aegir’s Hall, there are three bloodstones towards the East of the main town. Two of these will only appear when you uncover Jotnar’s magic by looking around the area from different angles. Spot posts with animal skulls on the shore to find shipwrecks. Once you can see the wrecks, pass through the post to convert them into reality.
The chest will be near one of the wrecks; to unfreeze it move around, and see another animal skull. Look from this angle and defrost it.
III. Ymir’s Blood Stone 3
The second bloodstone on the coastline is on a wrecked longboat. It will also be frozen over; on the side of the boat, find three posts with animal skulls. Pass through it to defrost the chest.
IV. Ymir’s Blood Stone 4
The third bloodstone on the coast does not require thawing but requires you to take a deep dive into a shipwreck. Just dive and break the walls to loot this chest.
2. Heart of the Wood Wealth
I. Ymir’s Blood Stone 1
Located south of the Heart of the Wood, find this bloodstone to the West of Aegir’s Hall. Move along the road bending towards the bridge; you will spot an area with animals’ skulls and posts. Step through them to find an altar containing a chest.
The chest needs two keys. The first key is nearby on a stone in the middle of the river, and the second is on the base of a wooden post under a rock.
II. Ymir’s Blood Stone 2
The second bloodstone is stuck between Heart of the Wood and Leyna Falls. Follow the stream to find a frozen wall below the bridge.
III. Ymir’s Blood Stone 3
The third bloodstone is in the West region of Heart of the Wood in a small logging camp. The chest is behind a wall of rubble. Find an urn to destroy it. This chest will also require two keys. The first is on the hanging pallet, and the second is on a similar pallet, but this time, it’s hidden. You need to climb on the crane to get a clear shot.
IV. Ymir’s Blood Stone 4
This bloodstone is at a small outpost in a tiny canyon consisting of a rock pillar with a tree on top. The chest is below the pillar near a cart.
V. Ymir’s Blood Stone 5
The fifth bloodstone is by a frozen lake at the ruins of Thrym’s house. Since the chest is buried, you need to dive into the hole to find it. Swim through, break an ice wall, and you’ll be inside the ruins. The key to the chest will be on the frozen bodies.
VI. Ymir’s Blood Stone 6
The sixth bloodstone is found at the house of the witch called Angrboda. It’s the place where one of the roots from the giant tree meets the ground. Reveal the house by passing through the animal skulls at the West side of the Heart of the Wood.
VII. Ymir’s Blood Stone 7
The seventh bloodstone is on the north side of Heart of the Wood on the large icy rock tower. When you reach the top, you’ll find the chest is locked. To find the key, drop down to walk through the animal skulls to reveal a window through which you can see a new tower with the key.
VIII. Ymir’s Blood Stone 8
The eighth bloodstone is near the Skrymir’s Mitten and north of Aegir’s Hall. This will be only accessible as part of the quest called The Puppeteer. Find the hidden house by walking through the animal skull posts.
IX. Ymir’s Blood Stone 9
The ninth bloodstone is nearby Kyrmir’s Mitten in a camp full of enemies. Break the ice at the top of the altar to find the chest.
3. Skrymir’s Mitten Wealth
I. Ymir’s Blood Stone 1
These bloodstones in Skrymir’s Mitten can be found during or after you complete the quest called ‘The Lost Cauldron.’ Use Jotnar Magic to reveal the area inside the maze and find the first chest near the large goblet.
II. Ymir’s Blood Stone 2
The second bloodstone in the area is found on the high platform. Reach the rope using a movable block.
4. Serpent’s Tree Wealth
I. Ymir’s Blood Stone 1
Find the first bloodstone on the north side of Serpent’s Tree. Find the large ruins with one rubble wall. You can use explosive arrows or go through some nearby animal skulls and find a grated window to shoot through.
II. Ymir’s Blood Stone 2
The second bloodstone is in the far northeast part of Jotunheim, north of the Serpent’s Tree. You can either fight the legendary beast or just sneak to the chest.
5. Utgard Wealth
I. Ymir’s Blood Stone 1
The first stone is just near the South Entrance of Utgard. The chest is under the floor of rubble. If you don’t want to use explosive arrows, just shoot the bag of rocks. The key to the chest is in the house in front of the chest.
II. Ymir’s Blood Stone 2
The second bloodstone is near the Eastern entrance in a tavern; it’s also the location of the event called ‘Pit of Slaughter.’
III. Ymir’s Blood Stone 3
The third bloodstone is also near the East Entrance of the town. Find a house where a group of Jotnars are hanging around to find the chest. The key is also on one of them.
IV. Ymir’s Blood Stone 4
The fourth bloodstone is located at the center of the town at the great hall, the same palace where you go for the quest ‘A Feast to Remember.’ The chest is on the second floor of the building.
V. Ymir’s Blood Stone 5
The fifth bloodstone is towards the Western part of Utgard town. Make your way up till you find a stone building that is locked. The way in is through the weak roof.
VI. Ymir’s Blood Stone 6
Using the explosives from the previous bloodstone to clear the rubble to find the Sixth Blood Stone in Utgard.
VII. Ymir’s Blood Stone 7
The next bloodstone is located below the Enchanted Tower where many of the Jotnar are patrolling. The main door will be locked, so use the second door nearby to re-arrange some blocks and get the prize.
VIII. Ymir’s Blood Stone 8
The eighth bloodstone is nearby Utgard’s Vault. This place is heavily guarded; either fight your way through or just sneak around through a cloth-covered entrance.
IX. Ymir’s Blood Stone 9
The next bloodstone is found at the top of the frozen tower in the Northwest area of Utgard. At each level, gain access by using the animal skulls posts. Finally, after finding your way through the tower, slide the block to find the chest.
X. Ymir’s Blood Stone 10
The tenth bloodstone is found at the Enchanted Tower. Go all the way top to go through the animal skulls posts, and you’ll reach a room with the chest. Find another skull posts that will turn the place around. As you leap through the basement, you’ll find the second chest.
XI. Ymir’s Blood Stone 11
This next bloodstone is located at the top of the Northern part outside Utgard keep. To go through the frozen gate, find a weak iced wall that you can break through.
XII. Ymir’s Blood Stone 12
When you enter Utgard’s Keep, in the feasting hall, find the next chest near the large throne where Suttungur sits during the quest ‘A Feast to Remember.’
XIII. Ymir’s Blood Stone 13
After the Feasting hall, take the stairway towards the front entrance and find the next chest just behind a chair.
XIV. Ymir’s Blood Stone 14
Keep going up the Utgard Keep, eliminating Jotnars until you reach the icy forge. Get the key to the nearby room and find the next bloodstone.
XV. Ymir’s Blood Stone 15
From the previous room, find the stairs to reach the roof. Locate a weak ice wall that you can break. There is a bloodstone just behind it.
XVI. Ymir’s Blood Stone 16
The last bloodstone is at the very end of the keep. So, fight your way through and reach the final roof. The chest containing the bloodstone is in the final room.
AC Valhalla Jotunheim All Mystery Locations
1. Aegir’s Daughter World Event
Just after you arrive, choose the option to drink. After passing out, you are tasked to find out what happened while you were drunk.
You Can’t Remember a Thing.
- Head towards the boar and wait for Havi to Speak.
- Examine the glass pieces near the large mead bucket.
- Investigate the barrels on the roof across the mead bucket; this will end the world event.
2. The Giants of Fimbulwinter World Event
Arrive at the marked location to fight and battle the two enemies to complete The Giants of Fimbulwinter event.
3. Pit of Slaughter World Event
When you reach the fighting square, choose any dialogue options with the guard. You’ll have to fistfight and defeat some animals to complete this world event.
4. The Puppeteer World Event
Arrive at the location to find a locked house. Through the back, shoot the lock to get in. Once you get in, interact with the brush and wait for someone to call you out. Fight this guy and choose whether to fight or spare him. Pick any of the options; you’ll still get the key to unlock the cage of the house.
5. Jotunheim Altar
Once you collect all 33 of the Ymir’s bloodstones, you can offer them at the Altar to gain 5 Skill Points.
6. Steinnbjorn Legendary Animal
This legendary animal will show up once you get close enough, but be wary Steinnbjorn is at power level 400! To win against the polar bear, target its weak points and use fire.
7. Ratatosk Flyting Challenge
This time your challenger is Ratatosk the Squirrel found on the rock shelf east of Thrym’s house. Choose the following response to win:
- I should like to see you try.
- They’re too dull to conquer me.
- I grow weary of your squeak.
8. Atgeirr Cairn
Find this Cairn on an obelisk just North of the Enchanted Tower, arrange the formation like shown above to complete the Atgeirr Cairn.
