Japan’s new state of emergency declared lockdown in over 11 prefectures to stop the spread of the coronavirus.

Now that Evangelion’s production team has delayed the screening of the final Evangelion film yet again, fans are becoming quite anxious.

To appease these frantic fans, Studio Khara has released a 15-second commercial showcasing the soon to be released Evangelion: 3.0+1.0: Thrice Upon A Time film.

The new PV features new scenes from Evangelion’s Unit-02, Shinji, and Asuka. The video also features a small snippet of Hikaru Utada’s Theme song for Evangelion’s Final film named “One Last Kiss.”

We finally get to see some more scenes from the final Evangelion movie before we say goodbye to the film tetralogy. But, let’s not get too sad, since the final film does not necessarily mean the end of the franchise.

Evangelion’s official website will soon declare the new screening schedule for Evangelion: 3.0+1.0: Thrice Upon A Time.

The theatre goods which were slated to be released during the movie screenings are also being delayed.

This is already the second postponement for the film. This is due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic situation forcing movie producers and watchers alike to have preventive measures against the spread of the virus. Hence, the film industry is suffering quite a loss.

We hope Evangelion: 3.0+1.0: Thrice Upon A Time will be screened very soon so that we can once again jump into the world of Evangelion magic!
