Dragon Ball Super, the fourth installment in the Dragon Ball universe, succeeds in bringing back all the old characters, fights, and comedy with a twist of new plot arcs. This anime makes sure that the hunger for more episodes will only grow once you start watching the new series.
Dragon Ball Super adapts the first 42 chapters of the manga by the same name written by Akira Toriyama. The anime aired for five seasons with 131 episodes and has 32 filler episodes, making up 24 % of the total episodes.
It is the official sequel to Dragon Ball Z. While some passionate fans regard it as aloof in the shadow of DBZ, regardless, DB Super is one of many sagas created that are not meant to be forgotten.

Conclusion
Unlike the other installments in the Dragon Ball franchise, Dragon Ball Super begins with a humorous scene and does not immediately go into super combat mode.
For a franchise super invested in over-the-top crazy fights, this series does a good job introducing the characters with a story for the newer audience.
DB Super has its own anime exclusive episodes, which I strictly suggest not to miss. The episodes are just as crucial as the manga canon episodes, if not more so.
This fresh addition to an already character-heavy Dragon Ball franchise is a sentimental bundle for old otakus and an exciting series for newer fans eager to get a piece of the Dragon Ball universe.
