Dr. Stone Season 2 Reveals New Visual, January 2021 Debut

Dr. Stone is a milestone in the genre of science fiction manga. It depicts a future where humankind has come to a stop, and nature has taken over. The surviving humans don’t know anything about science and we will see how they discover new things.

Senku, a genius boy from the 21st century, awakens and starts building incredible things from scratch. From intricate inventions like lenses to unbelievable machinery like communication devices or vehicles, Senku can make them all.

The official Twitter account of the Weekly Shonen Jump released a new visual for the second season of Dr. Stone anime.

The new visual shows Senku, Asagiri Gen, Tsukasa, and Hyoga. The characters coming out of their stone-bodies.

The illustration looks like it is a reference to the upcoming Stone Wars arc, which will lead to the conflict between science and pure strength.

Will science win and lead to a rebirth of humanity, or will Tsukasa rule over who comes back to life?

Season two of Dr. Stone will premiere in January 2021.

It will be streamed by Crunchyroll outside of Asia. Season one was simul-dubbed by Funimation.

The glass contains Byakuya’s message for Senku and the song of Lilian. The villagers are awed at the sound of music.

Season 2 Plot: [SPOILER]

Gen will come up with a plan where he can use Lilian’s voice to manipulate Tsukasa’s soldiers. The forces of the village of Science and Tsukasa’s army will clash in the Stone Wars arc.

Senku will come up with more inventions, like a makeshift tank, that can help him in the upcoming war.

Dr. Stone is a Japanese manga series written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Boichi. It serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump since 6th March 2017, with the individual chapters collected and published by Shueisha into thirteen tankōbon volumes as of November 2019.

Every human on the planet was turned into Stone after a mysterious flash of light hit Earth. Four thousand years after Senku, a student is confronted with a brand new world, an Earth without Humanity.

Now animals rule the world, and nature has reclaimed the planet. Senku and his friend Taiju begin trying to find a way to restore humanity.
