Previous threats have been almost dismissive with only the bare necessity of a word. However, this time, it is a complete sentence which makes the situation even more eerie. It is very clear now that Why-man doesn’t want anyone to reach its location.

Will that stop Senku and his team though? Of course not! In fact, the message has fueled his ambitions even more.

After 200 chapters, Why-man’s most direct and threatening message to the Kingdom of Science is “Do you wanna die?” There is no going back after this. This message clarifies that whatever Why-man is hiding cannot be disclosed to humankind. His identity is also a part of the secret.

Speculations over who Why-man is and what his message means are circulating all over the internet. While most think that it is actually an AI, others go to the extent of involving aliens in the matter.

However, first, we should consider what the “Do you wanna die?” message means.

Either Why-man is plain threatening Senku’s team by saying that their attempts will lead to their deaths, or it is asking why humans intend to banish the Medusa to die.

As we have already discovered, the petrification ray has the potential to negate death. Both Senku and Xeno understand the downsides to it and have agreed to not let anyone in on the secret.

Yet, Why-man’s last message seems more like a warning than a threat. Is the being trying to protect humanity from a threat by petrifying everyone? Petrifying itself doesn’t kill anyone since it can be undone with little to no risks.

There are many other ways of destroying humanity that are not as complex as petrification. Then why did Why-man go to such extents to use the Medusas which can not only petrify but also heal?

Gen concludes that Why-man has no intention to negotiate, only to send warnings. He is sure that Medusas won’t be raining down on them anytime soon. Has Why-man exhausted its means to petrification? Why else will it only send warnings?

Senku and his team are taking precautions against an unknown enemy but we are unsure if Why-man really is the villain in this case. Is humanity’s actual enemy something or someone else altogether?

With every chapter, Senku and his team are getting closer and closer to Mission Moon. Very soon, we will get to know about Why-man’s intentions.
