Recently the Official Toho movie channel revealed the teaser of the upcoming Doraemon movie. Staff for the Doraemon anime series revealed the teaser video for the 2020 Doraemon film as well. About The Movie
The story begins with Nobita meeting two twin dinosaurs. They were known as Kyu and Myu. The film’s title is freakishly similar to Doraemon the Movie: Nobita’s Dinosaur. The confused fans and everyone assumed a similar plot and story of the movie too. However, according to the anime Director of Doraemon- Kazuaki Imai, the story will be different. Kazuaki, the director of the Doraemon The Movie- Nobita’s Treasure Island, is going to direct this upcoming movie too. This will be the 40th Doraemon Movie.
Why This Movie?
The last Doraemon movie- Doraemon the Movie: Nobita’s Chronicle of the Moon Exploration, the 39th movie of franchise was able to earn almost 757 million yen by selling 645,000 movie tickets in Japan. This movie was a blockbuster! The film had earned a cumulative total of US$44.75 million which is a ton of money. Marketing strategy maybe? Besides this, fans are demanding a new movie anyway. So, The film will open in 382 screens in Japan on March 1.
