Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, a Japanese Manga series serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump since February 2016. An anime television adaptation of the series was made, which was showered with love by fans all over the world.
After the telecast of the last episode on September 28, 2019, there was little hope for the second season to return soon.
Nevertheless, there was a moment of joy for all the fans when a 20-second long teaser for the movie based on the manga was released. But there was no scheduled date of release for the film yet; however, the wait is over.
1. Release Date
This Friday, on April 10, 2020, a Livestream presentation was held.
The release date of the awaited film, titled “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train,” translated in Japanese as “Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Ressha-Hen” was announced recently. The movie would be released on October 16, 2020, in Japan.
2. Plot/Storyline
Demon Slayer season 1 ended at the seventh arc of the series, i.e., Rehabilitation Training arc.
It has been officially confirmed that the movie, Demon Slayer Infinity Train, will adapt the entire eighth arc (Demon Train Arc) of the manga. Hence, it will cover chapter 53 to 69 of the manga.
The movie will showcase the events of Mugen Train; the primary antagonist will likely by Enmu — the Lower Demon Moon. We will also see more of Flame Pillar — Rengoku.

The trailer for the upcoming film has been launched as well, along with the English dub of the same.

Since the upcoming movie is the sequel of the anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, it is essential to watch the series before the movie releases.
