Koyoharu Gotouge’s Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba was one of the most significant anime sensations of 2019, bagging multiple titles since its release.
From outselling Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece manga after its decade long reign to having its opening theme be the most downloaded anime song of 2019, Demon Slayer has had a tremendous year.
An English dub of the show is currently airing, and a new trailer showcasing the newly added cast members for the spider demons of mount Natagumo – Rui, Mother, Elder Brother, and Daughter, was recently released. The episode will air on Saturday.

The newly announced dub cast picks up the roles of the spider family of Lower Five. It includes:
- Billy Kametz as Rui
- Allegra Clark as Spider Demon (Mother)
- Derek Stephen Prince as Spider Demon (Elder Brother)
- Kellen Goff as Spider Demon (Father)
- Erica Lindbeck as Spider Demon (Daughter)
The existing cast includes:
- Abby Trott as Nezuko Kamado
- Zach Aguilar as Tanjirō Kamado
- Aleks Le as Zenitsu Agatsuma
- Brook Chalmers as Sakonji Urokodaki
- Bryce Papenbrook as Inosuke Hashibira
- Doug Erholtz as Kasugai Crow
- Greg Chun as Muzan Kibutsuji
Amazon Japan released rankings for the top-selling manga books from December 29 to January 4, and Demon Slayer’s volumes hold 19 positions from the top 20.
This is not surprising as Demon Slayer has had consistently high manga sales for the past few months, and there seems to be no end to their growth.
Demon Slayer was adapted into a 26 episode long first season, which premiered in April 2019. The show also received an English Dub, which started streaming on Cartoon Network in December 2019.
