When Nagomu Irino’s father gets hospitalized, the aspiring musician returns home to take over the family’s confectionary shop.

However, he also has to act as a foster parent for Itsuka Yukihara, the young girl working there. Nagomu has to deal with this new role, while Itsuka constantly criticizes him for his past decisions.

On Monday, Young Ace Magazine confirmed via Twitter that Deaimon would soon receive its anime adaptation.

The manga’s story centers on Nagomu, a man who left his home in Kyoto and his family’s confectionary shop when he became a musician.

Nagomu Irino returns to his Kyoto home for the first time in ten years when his father is hospitalized.

Nagomu is eager to take over Ryokushou, the family’s Japanese sweet shop, but he’s instead asked to be a father figure to Itsuka Yukihira, the girl everyone calls the successor.
