COVID-19 Updates: Kingdom Season 3 Joins The List Of ‘Anime on Hiatus’

Kingdom season 3 is following the Alliance Arc from the manga. It is based on the events following the Battle of Bayou.

Previous episodes showed the beginning of the war with Fei Xin forces charging towards Qin. Kingdom manga is one of the only few mangas which did not get delayed yet.

The anime, however, has succumbed to the wrath of the ongoing pandemic.

Kingdom’s production committee announced on their website on Sunday that episode 5 and later episodes are being delayed. Episode five was supposed to air on May 3.

Unfortunately, many anime series are getting delayed due to no production amidst this pandemic lockdown. Not only new seasons, but ongoing seasons are having a hiatus as well.

Recently, Major 2nd was also delayed, and now it is time for Kingdom anime.

The TV anime “Kingdom,” which has been on air since April, was being produced with sufficient preparation time, but initially planned due to the government’s announcement of an emergency situation against the new coronavirus infectious disease (COVID-19).
We had to postpone the broadcast because it had a big impact on the production schedule we were doing.
The 4th episode from 24:15 on Sunday, 4/26, will be broadcast as scheduled, and the broadcast will be postponed from the 5th episode on and after 5/3 (Sun).
