Connie Takes Harsh Measures In Chapter 126 – Attack on Titan

Attack on Titan has been serializing new chapters for almost a decade now, and according to the creators, the end of the series is in sight. As the story is nearing its conclusion, old loose ends are being tied up to give it a sense of completion.

Chapter 126, titled “Pride,” shows Connie’s decision to sacrifice Falco and let his mother eat him alive under the guise of “brushing her teeth.” He wants to use Falco’s titan power revert his mother back to the human state.

At the start of the series, Connie’s hometown was reported to have been overrun by Titans. Oddly, there was a lot of damage, but no blood was found, and none of the horses was missing. This raised the question: Where did the villagers go?

An immobile titan was found lying on Connie’s house, and he felt that it reminded him of his mother. We later found out that his hunch was dead on. The villagers had been converted into Titans, and his mother’s transformed form was too weak to move.

Fast forward to the present, Falco Grice has been given the powers of the snapping Jaw titan. Connie was presented with the choice to give his mother Falco’s powers to help her regain consciousness. It looks like Connie has made up his mind to feed Falco to his mother so that the powers inside Falco get passed onto her.

This plan may blow up in Connie’s face if Falco transforms into a titan while inside Connie’s mother’s mouth, effectively disabling her more.
