Cinderella Nine: Announces Special Program And 13th Episode!

Cinderella Nine franchise’s official website has announced that a “Cinderella Nine Re: fine” special program will be aired on September 27th, 2020.

Along with a retrospective of the TV anime, the program teases news about episode 13 which is currently in production.

A.I.R shared the franchise’s exciting news through its official Twitter account.

Cinderella Nine Re: Fine revolves around high schooler Tsubasa who enthusiastically plans to create a girls’ baseball team at her school, Rigahama High.

After being opposed by the student council, she still manages to recruit girls for the team.

However, these girls have never played baseball before, or even if they have, they’d ended up quitting the sport.

The Rigahama Girls’ Baseball Club works as a team through many ups and downs as they struggle to become good players and support each other throughout the journey.

Fans of the franchise will be excited to learn about the confirmed production of a 13th episode for the anime series.

Cinderella Nine’s television anime series currently has 12 episodes and in the final episode, we see the protagonist’s team get eliminated in the second round of the tournament.

However, the story takes a turn for the better as their successful journey throughout the series attracts possible new members to the club.

About Cinderella Nine

The franchise began as a free-to-play mobile video game for iOS and Android devices that were published by Akatsuki and Kadokawa and released in Japan on June 27, 2017.

Additionally, the franchise received a video game-inspired four-panel comedy manga series by Bkub Okawa. The manga is titled, “Hachi Nai Gaiden: Senryoku Gai! Katato-chan”.

Cinderella Nine also received a novelization titled “Hachigatsu no Cinderella Nine ~Before Summer~” that is being published on the game’s official website.

The franchise’s manga received A 4-episode original net animation adaptation titled “Katato the Animation” was streamed between May and June 2017, and an anime television series of the original game by TMS Entertainment aired from April 7 to July 7, 2019.

The Hachigatsu no Cinderella Nine or Cinderella Nine series began in Japan in July 2020 under a new title “Hachigatsu no Cinderella Nine Re: fine.”

The version of the anime that is going to be re-broadcast is a collector’s edition that is included in the Blu-rays and is more refined from the originally released version.

One extra episode is planned to be added as special content and is currently in production.
