Kabaddi is a game that is very familiar to those living in South Asian countries. It is an energetic team sport with two teams of seven members each.
The goal is for one person to cross over to the opponent’s side of the court and tag as many defenders as possible and return to his court all within a single breath.
This game has recently taken the spotlight in the manga and anime industry. Hajime Musashino’s Burning Kabaddi manga debuted in 2015 and ever since became quite a scene-stealer.
Burning Kabaddi will receive an anime adaptation soon and a trailer has been released for the same.
The trailer portrays the difficult game and the sweat and hard work that pro-players have to go through. After all, scoring in a single breath is not an easy task.

The teaser visual showcases the protagonist of the manga, Tatsuya Yoigoshi, Masato Ojou, Kei Iura, Kyouhei Misumi, Shinji Date, and Souma Azemichi.
