Brec Bassinger’s Stargirl Will Appear In Crisis on Infinite Earths Crossover

DC TV is taking us through a spiritual fan journey with Crisis on Infinite Earths. One more character that is going to appear in the crossover event is Stargirl.

Stargirl is getting her own show, and there are chances that Warner Bros. is looking to get her into movies too.

According to a report over at Business Insider, Brec Bassinger’s Courtney Whitmore aka Stargirl will make an appearance in the five-part Arrowverse crossover ahead of her solo series’ premiere.

“it will explain how she fits into the “bigger DC live-action universe.”

Moreover, she is getting a TV series which was confirmed recently. But we have some better news for fans. We are getting reports from our sources that Warner Bros. is planning to bring Stargirl to the DC movie universe. They are eyeing Jennifer Lawerence for the role of Courtney Whitemore, aka Stargirl in the movies.

Jennifer Lawrence has already portrayed Mystique (Raven Darkhölme), the shape-shifting anti-hero in four X-Men movies. So Jennifer really holds some experience being a superhero, and she may be the best choice for this role. Jennifer last appeared in the disastrous movie X-Men: Dark Phoenix. This movie went horribly wrong. It was the last appearance of Jennifer as Raven( and a lousy farewell to the character).

It’s long been rumoured that Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam movie would play in the sandbox of the Justice Society. It might also introduce a few members of the Golden Age superhero team. The Rock himself just confirmed that this is the case, too, while back in March, That Hashtag Show reported that Stargirl would appear in the film. So, the odds are on this marking her first cinematic appearance.

About Stargirl

Stargirl is a DC superhero appearing across many of the DC animated shows, live-action shows, and now she is finally getting her own show. Current bearer of the Starman legacy, teenager Courtney Whitmore serves as a valued member of the Justice League United.  Stargirlwhich features Brec Bassinger in the lead, is due to kick off with a 13-episode first season. It’ll premiere in early 2020 and episodes will drop first on DC Universe before airing on The CW the very next day.
