Boruto Updates: Anime Teases a ‘Special Project’ During Re-Runs

The ongoing pandemic has been severely affecting the lives of many of us and it has left a clear mark on the manga and anime industry.

One after the other, anime, manga and adaptation films are getting delayed indefinitely. One of the most popular anime series of all time, Boruto, has also not been spared from the clutches of COVID-19. But the creators have found a surprising way to please fans.

The Boruto team has come up with a new strategy to keep fans hooked onto the anime. This special project called, “At Home With Naruto” requires the voice actors of the series to hold a live Tweet session. This live-Tweet is done simultaneously with the reruns of the anime episodes.

Episode 155 of the anime series Boruto: Naruto Next Generations could not be aired thanks to the pandemic. Instead, re-runs of past episodes will be shown. There had already been an announcement of the delay in the manga production procedure.

Japan’s state of emergency was supposed to be lifted in the first week of May, but as the danger of COVID-19 looms large, it has been extended till May 31st by Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe.
