Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Manga Delayed – On Hiatus Due To COVID-19 Coronavirus

COVID-19 has caused delays to the production of many anime and manga as the publishers, as well as the fans insist that the delay is essential for the health of the production workforce. Shueisha recently posted an announcement regarding the postponement of many manga titles.

One of the most prominent titles delayed currently is Boruto: Naruto Next Generation’s 11th volume. The volume was supposed to be released on 1st May. However, it has now been delayed to 13th May due to COVID-19 concerns.

Boruto’s current manga storyline is on the verge of introducing a civil war inside of the Kara organization, which has fascinating implications.

The previous chapter ended with a member of Kara looking to join the ranks of the Hidden Leaf Village and feed them information about their former group of colleagues. Fans will have to wait for chapter 45, which will be released on 20th April.

The Weekly Shonen Jump’s 21st issue has been postponed and will be released as a combined 21st and 22nd issue on 27th April.

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is written and illustrated by Mikio Ikemoto, and supervised by Masashi Kishimoto himself. It came into serialization in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump in June 2016.

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is the series that follows the exploits of Naruto’s son, Boruto, during his academy days and further on. The series follows the character development of Boruto and the looming evil that challenges the fate of him and his loved ones.
