One of the best arcs of Black Clover anime – The Elf Resurrection ended recently, and began the Spade Kingdom arc. It has been speculated that the Spade Kingdom plot will be 10 times better than its predecessors because every single episode until now has been a setup from the grand stage – Spade Kingdom arc.
Black Clover episode 136 came out on recently and we saw Noelle Silva and Black Bulls training on the beach and then a sequence of breathtaking and heartfelt moments with Noelle, Kahono and Kiato at the Sea Temple.
In the next episode, things are certain to get more excited as Asta will be training with Charmy Pappitson. Let’s talk about page 137 now!
1. Episode 137 Release Date
Page (episode) 137, titled “Charmy’s Century of Hunger, Gordon’s Millennium of Loneliness” of the Black Clover anime will be released on Tuesday, August 4, at 2:25 am PDT.
In the next episode, we will see the fiery glutton Charmy Pappitson going on her own to train or ‘to eat.’ In addition to that Gordon will also be visiting his home.
2. Episode 137 Preview & Predictions
Black Clover is a no-spoiler anime as Yuki Tabata is working directly with the directors on each episode – this means that there is a huge possibility that 6-month time skip won’t happen in the anime. Instead, everything that we are seeing is canon and from that 6-month period.
Why do I say this? We have seen both Noelle Silva and Leopold Vermillion using the natural mana by creating some array like spells out of thin air. With this, overpowered spells they not only defeated the adversary but showed tremendous amount of growth.
Although it looks like the next episode will contain some events from the manga, or at least, half the episode. Let’s have a look at the preview first.
In the next episode Charmy Pappitson will go on a trip to train herself in a desert and a hill, however, we don’t know if she’s there to train or to find some exotic ingredient!
Also, Gordon Agrippa will likely leave the Black Bull squad on a temporary note to go to his house and study poisons and devils with his father, Nathan Agrippa.

Episode 136, titled “A Black Deep-Sea Story,” was released recently and just like the predictions it gave a huge power-up to Noelle Silva.
The episode starts with Black Bulls training on the beach – Noelle is training to control her enormous mana using the fiery waves while she hears a mysterious lullaby.
Asta and others are running around, Gordon and Gauche are studing (wait, what?), and Zora, well, he is setting up trap spells for everyone!
Suddenly, Kiato and Kahono appears out of the ocean and informs the squad about a disturbance at the Seabed Temple – apparently, there have to perform a dance and song for the Sea Guardian but the fish monsters and the Kraken are not letting them to do so.
When they ask for Black Bulls help – Noelle steps up and Yami choses Finral to accompany her. All four of them travel to the ‘Void of No Return’ and are instantly engaged with the fish monsters.
After a crushing defeat, Noelle learns to use array by channelling the natural mana around her and defeats everyone including the Kraken!
When they reach the last point, Kiato and Kahono perform for the Sea Guardian and calms it down. The enriched Sea Guardian then sings a lullaby for Noelle which reminds the latter of her mom, Acier Silva.
Even though the chapter ends here, a lot of questions remain on our minds – How does the Sea Guardian know Noelle? Why does the lullaby reminds Noelle of her mother?

Black Clover is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yūki Tabata. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine since February 16, 2015.
The story centers around Asta, a young boy seemingly born without any magic power, something that is unknown in the world he lives in. With his fellow mages from the Black Bulls, Asta plans to become the next Wizard King.
