Black Clover Episode 129 – Release Date, Where to Watch, Updates, Spoilers & Speculation

Due to the ill-pacing of the anime, it had come too close to the latest chapter of the manga. Hence we saw a month’s worth of filler episodes.

However, it looks like the anime is ready to step into the next arc. Both episodes 126 and 127 dealt with the information about devils & their curses. And it looks like our magic knights have finally entered the kingdom of nature and mana — Heart Kingdom!

1. Episode 129 Title & Release Date

Black Clover, page(episode) 129, will be titled “The Devil Megicula.” and will be releasing on Tuesday, April 7th, 2020. The sudden fight between the mages of the Clover Kingdom & the Heart Kingdom will come to an end in the next episode. 

2. Episode 128 Preview & Speculation

The preview does not reveal much except for the face of an unidentified girl, and the fact that the fight will come to an end in the next episode.

The secrets of the Spade Kingdom devil — Megicula will also be revealed.

Manga Spoilers

According to the Black Clover manga, the fight will come to a halt, and the Princess of the Heart Kingdom (the unidentified clumsy girl from the preview) will show her face.

She will explain the reason for the attack and the truth behind the curse of Megicula, who took the life of Acier Silva — Noelle’s mother. She will also require the assistance of Black Clover mages as the Spade Kingdom’s invasion will be happening much sooner than expected.

Black Clover, episode 128, titled “To The Heart Kingdom!,” was released recently. The Clover Kingdom team has finally entered the Heart Kingdom; it consists of Asta, Noelle, Nero, Finral, and Mimosa. Mimosa has been to the secluded Heart Kingdom, so she tagged along to ease the “international affairs.”

As soon as they enter, they meet the Spirit Guardian — Gaja, who is a stage Zero mage. Suddenly the Heart Kingdom princess — Lolopechka and the Water Spirit — Undine abduct Asta to a different location and attack him. During all this, Gaja battles against the trio of Noelle, Finral, and Mimosa, who are Stage 1, 5, and 3 mages, respectively.

Black Clover is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yūki Tabata. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine since February 16th, 2015, and has been collected into 22 tankōbon volumes.

The story centers around Asta, a young boy seemingly born without any magic power, something that is unknown in the world he lives in. With his fellow mages from the Black Bulls, Asta plans to become the next Wizard King.
