We all felt his determination, we all felt his desire to become the greatest and we all witnessed his epic loss while he fought his father only promising to come back as a better opponent.

The legendary “Hanma Baki” manga by Keisuke Itagaki became so popular that it received two seasons of anime adaptation, an OVA and even a video game.

Netflix announced in September 2020, that Baki has a third season in the making.

Recently Netflix confirmed that season 3 of Baki Hanma will be released in 2021. The season will follow the original manga storyline and will be the sequel to Baki: Dai Raitaisai-hen series. The voice cast of the previous seasons will reprise their roles.

The visual poster was also released revealing the first look of Baki expected in Season 3. He has a determined look on his face and appears mighty strong.

Season 3 will finally showcase the epic fight between Baki Hanma and his father Yujiro Hanma and tell us who the ultimate winner is amongst the dysfunctional Father-Son duo.

The original manga “Hanma Baki” by Keisuke Itagaki was published in Akita Publishing’s Weekly Shōnen Champion magazine in the year of 1991. There are a total of 42 compiled volumes which sold around 63 million copies.

The sequel to the manga was published in 1999 and had 31 volumes which inspired an Original Anime DVD (OAD) featuring the “Most Evil Death Row Convicts” arc.

Hanma Baki then ran in the same publishing from 2005 to 2012 and after the third main sequel, it finally ended in April of 2018. The fifth main continuation of the manga launched in 2018 and was titled “Bakidou.”

The establishment has been extraordinarily well known for nearly three decades since its introduction in 1991. The show showed up on Netflix Japan first in June 2018 and was later trailed by a worldwide release in December 2018.
