Volume 1 of the new Assassin’s Creed manga “Assassin’s Creed: Blade of Shao Jun” will hit the stores on February 16th, 2021.
The manga by Minoji Kurata will be based on the Assassin’s Creed: China series. The series follows assassin Shao Jun who is a bringer of peace for the poor.
The visual reveals the cover for the Volume 1 of the Blade of Shao Jun manga which showcases the look of Shao Jun, the Chinese assassin.
Originally created by Ubisoft, this video game garnered huge popularity for its unique stealthy gameplay. People were excited to play an assassin character who is ready to take on the world of injustice.
The Assassin’s Creed: Blade of Shao Jun is also based on the video game Assassin’s Creed: China series where you play the role of the last Chinese assassin Shao Jun.
The story depicts the happenings of the Ming dynasty of China, where the emperor has become a cruel leader, leading his country to political unrest. Shao Jun flees to Europe to train her assassin skills and avenge her comrades’ deaths.
In a short film, Shao Jun supposedly met the famous assassin Ezio in Italy. The video game series captures different timelines of assassin’s fighting for people’s freedom.
Another manga based on Assassin’s Creed Black Flag was previously drawn by Takashi Yano and Kendi Oiwa. The two compiled volumes of the manga were released in English in the year 2017.

The original game came out in 2007 and the recent Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is to release in 2020.
Manga based on Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag was released in 2017 and a new one based on Assassin’s Creed: China is set to release in February 2021.
