1. Release Date
Kapibara-san will begin broadcast on TV Tokyo on October 9th, 2020. It will also be broadcast on TV Osaka, TV Aichi, TV Satouchi, TV Hokkaido, and TV Kyushu on Fridays during the 7:30 pm time slot.
Tomohiro Tsukimisato is directing the series, and Shin-Ei Animation and Lesprit will be doing the animation. Tryworks created the original character design under Bandai Spirits.

Shin-Ei Animation will be animating the series with Lesprit studio.

Lesprit has produced character animations too like Tanuki to Kitsune and the other is Cinderella Girls Gekijou.

The animation is consistent with the original artworks. The backgrounds and visuals are simple, with a cartoonish feel to them.
The characters in the recent works have a more ‘humanized’ edge to them, but since Kapibara-san is going to be about animals, we will have to wait and see how the animation would be like.
