SPOILERS AHEAD! This page contains spoilers from Demon Slayer (anime).

1. Gyutaro and Daki’s Defeat Marks Demon Slayers’ Greatest Victory Yet

Can we just take a moment to appreciate how epic that battle was?! Tengen, Tanjaro, and the rest of the Demon Slayer Corps outdid themselves this time. And let’s not forget that Gyutaro and Daki were twins with shared abilities, making the fight even more challenging.

Gyutaro and Daki’s demise shows that the Demon Slayer Corps have come a long way. This win is a reminder that no matter how scary things get, the Demon Slayer Corps will always be there to protect humanity.

Besides, this victory will make things more intense between Tanjiro and his group and Muzan’s demons.

2. Tengen Steps Down as the Sound Hashira

The battle with the Upper Demon Moon was just too much for Tengen; even he lost a hand and an eye. So, he made the tough decision to retire from the Demon Slayer Corps.

It’s a bummer we won’t see any more of his flashy moves, but I’m happy to hear that he has other plans for his retirement. He’s going to spend his time with his three wives. He definitely deserves some peace and quiet after all the hard work he put in.

It’s a shame that his retirement will leave the Hashiras short-handed, but

I’m sure Tengen knows what’s best. He can still support the Corps in other ways, and we’ll always be grateful for his bravery and dedication to protecting humanity from those creepy demons.

3. Tanjiro Gets New Power-Ups!

Tanjiro’s scar expanded and darkened during his battle with Gyutaro, revealing another mysterious aspect of his character. His swordsmanship also got an upgrade while he was in the Entertainment District.

He learned a new Sun breathing technique that blends with his usual water breathing and even figured out how to stop breathing altogether!

He’s still working on mastering Sun breathing, and it is quickly becoming his best attribute. His new abilities are a total game-changer, and I’m excited to see where these power-ups take Tanjiro next.

4. Nezuko Unleashes Her Beast Mode!

Did you see Nezuko in that fight against the Upper Demon Moons? I was so impressed! She took down Daki like it was nothing.

When Daki almost killed Tanjiro, something inside Nezuko snapped, and her demon side took over. She went into beast mode and got a brand new look, not to mention some crazy strength.

I can’t wait to see what Nezuko does next. It’s no wonder Muzan is worried about her – with her transformation and newfound power; she’s becoming a real force to be reckoned with!

5. Love and Mist are in the Air

Mitsuri and Muichiro, the Love and Mist Hashiras, are joining Tanjaro and Company on their latest adventures in the Swordsmith Village. They’re both master swordsmen and are considered to be the weirder members of the group.

Even with their quirkiness, I’m so hyped to see what Mitsuri and Muichiro can do in battle! These guys are seriously skilled with a sword.

I hope they don’t end up with the same tragic ending as some of their Hashira peers. I’m rooting for them to come out on top and be victorious in their battles! They’re sure to bring some fresh energy to the team.
