American Gods: Season Three Premiere Date Dropped

Season three of American Gods now has an official premiere date. The third season of the fantasy drama had been renewed by Starz way back in 2019. Given its brilliant visual effects and graphics, it is no wonder that one season takes more than a year to be finished. The coronavirus pandemic in 2020 did not help with the production of season three and the release was delayed.

Finally, on October 27th, Neil Gaiman, executive producer and author of the book on which the series is based, revealed that American Gods will be returning in January 2021.

Through a tweet, the British author announced that the third season of the Starz drama will premiere very soon in the US and the international audience will be able to watch it a day after. He also personally reassured fans that the third season is going to be really good. How could it not?

The second season ended in an explosive finale. The world had descended into chaos and it seemed that Mr World had won. On top of that, Shadow found out that (spoilers) Mr Wednesday, who is actually the Norse God Odin, is his father.

In a teaser trailer for the third season that Starz had released earlier this month, it was shown that Shadow had moved to a snowy hamlet called Lakeside to lie low for some time. But he can never leave his troubles too far behind.

American Gods season three premieres on January 10th, 2021, on Starz in the US.

Do you watch American Gods? What do you expect from the third season?
