All The Original Movies Coming to Netflix in 2021

After a low-key 2020 with the coronavirus pandemic hampering production for most movies and tv shows, Netflix is coming back with a host of original content in 2021. According to a video released by the streaming platform in early January, around 70 movies will be dropping on Netflix throughout the year!

The new releases will range from lighthearted rom-coms to chilling horror stories. Of course, there are a couple of what Netflix does best—action-packed thrillers. The best part is that the upcoming movies will be headlined by the biggest stars in the film industry, compensating for our missed theatre-going experiences.

5. The Kissing Booth 3


The teen romantic comedy is the last entry of The Kissing Booth trilogy. It will revolve around Elle’s last summer before she goes to college and has to take big decisions before she moves on to a different part of her life.

6. To All The Boys: Always and Forever

7. The Woman in the Window


A psychological thriller by Joe Wright, the film will see an agoraphobic woman (Amy Adams), who lives alone in New York, witness an act of violence in her neighbor’s house. Afterwards, when her neighbor disappears, she suspects foul play. The film is based on the book of the same name by A.J. Finn.

8. Escape from Spiderhead


The film is a science fiction story based on the novel of the same name by George Saunders. It is set in the near future, where convicts can volunteer to be medical subjects in order to reduce their sentences.
