While the manga industry is known for its regular schedule, unfortunately, hiatuses often do not follow the same rules. A sudden unexplained hiatus probably means the series is destined to suffer the same fate again and again.

However, not every series is Hunter X Hunter.

The Ace of Diamond Act 2 manga’s serialization will resume in the combined 36th and 37th Issue of Weekly Shonen Magazine, which will be released on 4th August 2021.

The reputed sports manga had gone on a hiatus two months ago from the 27th Issue of WSM. Fortunately, this one was not because of a health issue but more of a research break.

The author of the series, Yuji Terajima, had previously taken a similar hiatus back in 2015 to prepare for his next series.

Whether it be research or health issues, most fans nowadays seem sympathetic towards the creators when they are on a hiatus. They understand that it is simply not worth neglecting health just to deliver something on the schedule.

Even some apathetic fans do not want their favorite series to underdeliver for any reason, so a break is sometimes acceptable.
