The episode was originally supposed to air on 8th May, but the 13th episode will now be re-aired in its stead.

This is not the first time that the anime has been delayed over these concerns. The anime’s 7th episode, titled “Railgun × Mental Out,” was also postponed from 21st February to 28th February because of production issues.

Two special programs were aired on 6th and 13th March as well instead of new episodes. The 13th episode was also delayed until 1st May due to COVID-19 concerns.

In the second half of the third season, the Dream Ranker arc will be adapted from the manga. The 13th episode, titled “SYSTEM,” was adapted from chapters 65-67 (Daihasei Festival Arc).

Following this pace, it is likely that the 15th episode will kick off the Dream Rankers arc.

The story arc deals with a series of events involving a group of people called Dream Rankers and the trend of sharing dreams using a specific kind of technology, culminating in an incident involving the technology’s creator.

The opening theme song for the anime is performed by fripSide, and the ending theme song, titled “Nameless Story,” is performed by Kishida Kyōdan & The Akeboshi Rockets.
